This game isn't very good, in fact I don't like it much. However, I'm writing this review as a response to those who say it's the worst game on the NES. Well it's not. It's actually a cool idea. When you get too upset you turn into the Incredible Hulk, oh wait I may be confusing Dr. Jekyl with someone else. Seriously with two different parts of the game it's quite original. The only problem is that it's very hard and not that fun. What I really hate though are people who stick a game in their NES, die in 5 seconds, and then write a review of the game. Here's a tip to everyone out there, beat one level before you review a game!! Better yet beat two or three levels. Then if you hate the game slam it. Oh wait I think I was doing a review here. Basically this is a game where you run around and jump over stuff. You do shoot fireballs in when you're Mr. Hyde but that's just to get back to Dr. Jekyl which is where the real game lies. The beginning is hard til you get the hang of it and then it gets impossible on level 4. I'm sure I could beat it, but it's hard to put a lot of time into a game you don't like much.
Graphics and Sound: Decent
The backgrounds are pretty interesting but this game doesn't have one of the best graphics for the NES.
Gameplay and Controls: Decent
The controls aren't bad, it's just very difficult. Try jumping over a dog three times in about a second, I still haven't figured that one out.
Features: Some
Not really features, but the two games in one is a perk. The only problem is that I didn't particularly like either one.
Fun?: Not really
Personally I didn't like the game. It's hard and not that rewarding.
Challenge: Very Hard
This is a hard game. Possibly made more difficult by the fact that it blows.
Replay: None
Replay value, I just said the game isn't fun. Actually I take that back the replay is immense if used as a torture device.
2 Player: None
I would probably rather watch someone play than actually play it myself. Then you could laugh at them as they die over and over and over and over ....
Bottom Line: Nah
I'd take a pass on this game with a few exceptions. If you love Jekyl and Hyde get it! If you want to collect all the games, well then duh get it. If you want to see if this is the worst game ever than get it. By the way it's not even close. Try playing Color a Dinosaur.
